Mark your calendar for our signature fundraiser and fan favorite event, “Just Desserts,” held on the 4th Sunday in February at the Virginia Horse Center. Sample the mouth-watering creations of local chefs as you sip local wine and peruse our silent auction. SAVE THE DATE: February 23, 2025

Make sure our kids have access to healthy snacks on the weekend when you join us to
participate in Washington & Lee’s Backpacks for Kids.

Welcome students from abroad at our annual International Dinner serving the local colleges and high school. Foreign students realize they are not alone, make friends, and even learn a little something about their peers.

Team up with us to honor our local heroes in an amazing Veteran’s Day celebration open to all for the City of Lexington and Rockbridge County on November 11th.

Share your time and talents to support Operation Smile, Rockbridge Connect and Nourish Community Dinners, Boxerwood, Rockbridge Christmas Baskets, Project Horizon, and more.

Ensure our neighbors have food to eat and clothes to wear by supporting our Food Pantry and Clothes Closet projects.

Invest in our future by awarding LWC scholarships to deserving students looking at Community College, Four Year Programs or Trade Schools.

P.S. We play hard too! Spring is picnic time, and we host regular “lunch bunch” get togethers, informal social events, and a holiday luncheon.
